The ‘BlueBirds’ were an exceptional group of Australian civilian volunteer nurses who served in France during World War 1, at a time when France’s own nurses were in short supply. In honour of those brave, and rarely acknowledged women, and representing the ongoing bond between Aussies and the French (Cliche’ was founded in Lyon, France in 1997), we’ve chosen the ‘Bluebird’ for our first ever Precinct x Cliche’ collaboration deck.
